The tower was built in 1447. There are records of Reedham residents going back hundreds of years.

The tower was built in 1447 with money left by Thomas Berney and others. There was a big fire in 1981 which destroyed the roof and damaged the interior of the church , it has been restored with the efforts of the villagers with new furniture and stained glass windows depicting a map of Reedham. Inside the church, there a record of 995 churchyard memorials which shows a record of where they were buried and sometimes their epitaphs.
